For this exercise, I will look at one of my reading post; 'Mapping International Exhibitions, by Ferguson and Greenberg.
In the reading I focus on one of the international locations exhibitions take place in, The Istanbul Biennial.

Now, these are two of the installations explained in depth.

Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev was the curator for the 14th Istanbul Biennial, “Saltwater: A Theory of Thought Forms”.

As you can see in the image, the sculptures are floating on water, Christov-Bakargiev uses the water as a metaphor.
